Lower Mainland Vancouver...need help

Hi Forum,

I am considering on purchasing my first airsoft gun; I like to collecting guns.

I was wondering if there is somewhere in vancouver or the greater area that retails these, I am not a big fan on mail orders?

After serious consideration, I am leaning toward the TM AK47. Price is not really an objective for me, just want the best to start with...who knows, I might go do a few battles...

P.S. please let me know if you have any other suggestions on other types of gun.

Regards,
Mike

He didn't really say anything stupid, so no need to flame.

Welcome.

To keep it short, you need to be 18 to purchase and own airsoft guns. The two main retailers in Canada right now would be www.aasurplus.ca and www.007airsoft.com. Don't order out of Canada as it wont make it across the border. Read the FAQ for sure and google any guns you might be interested in buying, it helps a ton. Here on ASC theres the classifieds section which is an awesome place to pick up guns, you'll need to get age verified to gain access.

Hi,

Thanks for the response, I already did some research on mail order and I did came up with www.aasurplus.ca and www.007airsoft.com thank you for that information; also, thanks for not flaming me.

Call me old fashion, but I like to actually go into a store and purchase the gun while having that human interaction; furthermore, with my long working hours in the dental lab there is no way that I will be home to get that mail order. I am really leaning on that TM AK47....I always like that gun back in the early 80's "when I was a kid" playing G.I Joe's......come to think of it I guess I am still a kid at heart

Also, how do you get age verified?

Regards,
Mike

If you want to be age verified contact Whozat in BCAC forum. Kampfer of Op-For is busy right now.

There are no walk in stores in the lower mainland as in Zero. You have no choice but to buy one on-line in Canada only.

This is partly true, but http://warcraftgames.ca/ does carry parts and other items instock. The store is in Mission and HQ of Op-For Mission. At the moment they do not carry guns so the 2 outlets you had posted above are your current place to buy new AEG's.

You could always go to a couple games and rent a rifle that way you can try a few before you commit to one. Might give you a few other options. That's about as much hands on as you will get before you buy a new one anyhow.
