I agree, an advanced selector switch is not AK blasphemy. The gun has been almost untouched since 51 besides the folding stock and the 5.45x39mm round. The switch is horrible and all you need is a dremel and weld a tab to the bottom. Just because Izmash produces their switch this way doesn't mean the soldiers fix the problem. We all know Russian ingenuity might be crude but it's creative, cheap and reliable.
