Weekend matches?
Hey, I just found out I am going to be in Regina on the weekend, and I was wondering if there were any matches going on then. I would like to see how they work, and probably would have some spare time while I'm there. If there are no matches planned, just say so and then its done. I know I can't participate until I am 18, but this is something that really interests me. I have read a few things about it however this would really make it easier to understand what you do.

Not to burst your bubble, but there's this thing called Winter going on outside...
You won't find much going on until probably March. You'll have to sit on your hands until the snow melts.

I forgot to ask if there anyway indoor places, I think paintball has them. O.K. thanks for saying that then.

There's a indoor/CQB game in Melville happening on Feb 9 if you're interested. Some people from Saskatoon might be going.

He could still go watch/ask questions/try out guns, etc.

Or he could not. He is underage.
Styrak, maybe next time check with the game organizer before you speak on their behalf so you don't get caught spreading misinformation. For that matter, he asked about THIS weekend...not a weekend 5 weeks from now. |

Heh, I don't think Styrak did anything out of place here. He didn't offer an invitation or anything, merely a suggestion of what Col. Hogan COULD do. Doesn't mean he'll be able / allowed to...
In any case, Hogan, check with whomever is putting on the game and they should be able to give you a straight answer or point you to someone who can |

We dont play outdoors during the winter. The indoor matches are few and far between if any, due to lack of location.
Stop giving advice.

Hogan, if you're really desperate and feel like making a road trip with your folks (or if you and your folks are stopping by) we have Xtreme Tactics here in Winnipeg. They allow 16+ to play with parents' permission and rent out guns to use.
This is an option, not the best option, but definitely better than absolutely nothing. You're welcome to check it out if you're ever in town, and it would be a fine place for you to learn the basics. Barring that, keep an ear to the ground and just keep a check of the "Events" section and if something comes up, contact the organizer and work something out with them.
