Can anyone give me reviews on CA tight barrels?
Here in our country, they hate it. I just can't figure out why. I just want a good accuracy and groupings. I don't care about its sound or anything else.

No idea where they are now, but when I first tried them about a year ago, they were terrible.
They were pretty and shiny, but there was something wrong with their surface treatment. For some reason bbs would melt and leave a residue inside them. The residue would collect and make for horribly bad groupings. I wasn't using crap bbs either. I had problems with a few different brands which work fine in my other barrels. I cut the barrel in half to examine the surface (half diameter direction, not half length) and found long stringy streaks of bb that could be peeled like floss. I kind of doubt that CA would have let this problem go on for too long though. They were so bad that they would foul in 50 or so shots. Check on some other forums to see if this issue still exists with CA tightbores.

Hey, the guy is looking for feedback on CA tightbores. Suggestions of alternatives from people who haven't used a CA barrel don't help us find out about the subject of the post.
I'd like to know of the CA tightbores still suck as bad as they did a year or so ago when they were released.

Classic army can barely make gearbox parts as it is let alone upgrade parts lol
We could spend some money and do some testing on the matter, but it won't matter, bottom line is CA's quality control is an abomination. Even if their tightbores are decent right now, in one month they could be total crap again. Prometheus and systema are great choices. |

From what I have tried in tight bores this far:
Best Gun=OK CA=crap JB Unicorn= Good/Very good KM=OK/good Mad Bull=OK/good Prometheus=Good/Very good Supposedly Tanio Koba and PDI are also worth looking in to, but I have not tried them (yet). The CA tight bore I had ended op being cut in half to be used as a tool for fitting 7mm bearings in gearbox shells. |

I just upgraded my CAM15A4 with a ak47 madbull 6.03 and matching cylinder, it shoots pretty damn straight.
