MP5A5 handgrip flashlight question

About a week ago I got my first MP5. When I got the batteries for the flashlight and put them in, the light worked fine a few times. However, the next morning the light would not work. Im almost sure it has nothing to do with the batteries since they are new, and the bulb looks fine. The little coil is still intact.

My questions are, first, if the coil on the bulb is not broken, does that not necessarily mean that the bulb it self is burnt out? And second, could it be a problem with the pressure switch? The wires are intact. I also noticed and felt a slight clicking noise each time I pushed the switch, which I do not feel or hear anymore.

Any help would be great.
