P90 Receiver?

Hey there, jut got a P90 TR in a trade (woo, this thing is awesome!) and I was wondering where the trades are on a real P90. Upper receiver or lower plastic stock-ish part?

The idea being of course to replace the plastic upper receiver with a metal one from overseas, if possible. My first instincts are to think it's on the upper receiver, which sucks.

Yes you can. MP5 lowers, M4 uppers. If you don't have any information, (not to mention, false information) please don't post.

not unless its an m4 upper, or an mp5 lower. what you can and cant import is Dependant on the location of the serial number of the RS counterpart. since its on the upper on a p90, thats whats restricted.

Unless Im mistaken, the only metal upper is from G&P, and its for the red dot version upper, not the TR..

That's the only one I've seen. I would love a steel upper for the TR.

Yup GnP metal upper for RDS receiver, you can put a Duel rail on it in place of the RDS to effectively make it an FMU Triple Rail. Works great, and the feel of the metal and balance of the gun is really something awesome. Extremely solid.

Took me forever to track down the receiver, but here it is, with a DTP rail attachment instead of RDS, laser, and aimpoint.

Thanks,

It's a custom sling, works like the stargate one without the full chest rig. Single point 2 part detachable and ambidextrous. I forgot who made it for me, but someone on the boards a while back were making them.

It attaches to 2 points on your rig, and a clip in the middle, the other part attaches to the back of your P90 like in the picture, and you can clip it in and out when you're in/out of action. It's quite convenient, keeps the gun close to your body at all times and works for shouldering on both sides.

cool, im thinking of doing something custom myself. something more simple though like a standard 2 point sling. Only prob is that it has to fit the loops in the back lol

I have one on mine that's exactly the same, two point connection to your vest and a clip to unhook the gun when needed, just like the Stargate ones. It's pretty cool!
