I didn't experience wobble either, but when I installed a SIR handguard on my TM M4A1, I noticed the barrel wasn't even aligned with the receiver. It wasn't too visible before, but the top rail of the SIR handguard made it obvious. I had to make a custom metal piece to keep the barrel centered in the handguard. The green line shows the original alignment of the barrel. The piece I made to keep it straight: |

You could just buy both TM compatible AK and M4 for $400.00 at www.bansheepaintball.com.
You can get an aftermath kraken {AK} and an aftermath kirenex {M4}. Don't worry its a canadian website, don't waste your money on overpriced TM jap scrap, just buy the clones they shoot harder and faster anyway. Last edited by old hat; January 27th, 2008 at 20:58.. |

If your planning on upgrading a ton of parts anyways - starting with a clone can have it's benefits, you won't have to worry about all the odds and ends. And calling TM "jap scrap" while recommending an aftermath - is... interesting. I can understand if you feel that TM is too much to spend on a hobby gun - but TM's are of MUCH higher quality than aftermath's and other clones. |
