Opinion: Pistol tightbores
Has anyone experienced any major improvements over tight-bores on pistols? Accuracy/FPS? Thinking of investing in one for my 4.3, don't know if it's just going to go to waste, so I'd just like to hear some of your opinions, thanks guys and gals.

no MAJOR improvemnts but noticable increase in shot consistency (groupings) and a slight increase in fps. its worth it IMO.

5-10% increase in fps and definate accuracy improvements. I recomend 6.01 PDI whenever possible. The tighter the better, just be sure to use high grade bb's like KSC Perfect bb's.

grouping improvement definitely, and as said if you go down to 6.01mm you can get pretty significant fps gain. someone on Arnies have done tests comparing the fps gain between tightbore and hi-flow valves and concluded that in most cases tightbore can give you better fps improvement compare to hi-flows...

if you use BB Bastards, you will never have a problem.

Use 0.28g to 0.30g for increased range and better groupings.
I found my velocity in my G19 went from 305fps to 342fps after installing a 6.04mm tightbore. |

Use heavy BB's, a tightbore, AND hi-flow valve!

Id like to get a tightbore, but Im a KJ owner and I have yet to see anything compatable for my m9. But if I did eventually get a tightbore I would have to have only one or the other as it would put my m9 over the 350 fps limit for indoors.
