Some starter questions

A couple of questions -- Yes, I've read the FAQs.

1. I've read that importing replica firearms in Canada is illegal without a valid firearm license. I have such a license, is there any special procedure I need to go through?

2. If I purchase via a reputed Canadian retailer (007 is my only candidate for now):

-What is the best stock AEG brand (I've always been fond of TM for being the first, but are they still the best?) Please note that money isn't an issue. I want something that is reliable, accurate and durable. I would much rather pay extra now for something with a fair resale value if I ever decide to get out of the hobby then throw money away on a piece of crap that will break down after 2 months of moderate usage.

-For sidearms, I'm considering a Glock 18C. Are the EAPs up to snuff compared to the GBBs now, or should I ONLY consider GBBs for sidearms?

It's not a firearms license (PAL) you need, it's a Business Firearms License (BFL) and even then it depends on what kind of BFL you have. Some only allow importation of certain parts and accessories.
