I've always wondered - how do you use the sights on top mounted magazine guns?
 I've always wondered - how do you use the sights on top mounted magazine guns? I've always thought that weapons like the Bren and the Japanese Type 96-99 weapons of WWII looked kind of funny. Is there an actual advantage to this type of design? |

The sights are offset slightly to the side.

I think, it woould hae to do with it being easyier for the bullets to feed down than up, also, can you get an airsoft gun like that?

Your both right, it's more reliable to feed down and easier to reload when your prone. But since body armor came out, it's been a bad idea to go prone, and it's more difficult to reload a top fed gun when standing lol
I was going to turn a dewat Bren gun into an airsoft gun, then the owner sold it lol |
