Hi-Capa 5.1 - *BLACKTASTIC BLACK* Black "Springfield" 2011 variant

Thanks to Illusion for happening to be bringing in many of the things I was looking for in the first place. Here's what it has:

Outer:
PGC Infinity Slide (originally Silver)
Tanio Koba Grip
Tanio Koba "Barsto 45 ACP" Chamber and outer barrel

Inner:
Tanio Koba Twist Inner Barrel
King Arms 150% Hammer and recoil spring

Coming Soon
PGC "Springfield Armories" Slide
Hi-Flow Valves
KM Air Seal Chamber Packing

Note: The Tanio Koba grip feels amazing, I highly recommend them. (Illusion has more in stock)

EDIT: The reson you see some scratch marks, is I just painted my gun back to black. (I had given it a worn look before I sold it, and bought it back) I don't think I let it cure and harden long enough before I reassembled it.

Black is sexy! I keep thinking about getting one of these, because they're widely available, but I don't know which Safariland 6004 they'll fit in!

The grips, or the hi-capas? I know a Hi-Capa will fit a 1911 Serpa holster with some minor modification.

The slides for the hi-capas are compatible with the 1911s with a spacer, so I could see them working with a 1911 Safariland 5", although I could see it needing some modification in the trigger guard area. (Standard hi-capa having the right angled trigger guard, as opposed to the curved one on my TK grip.)

Other than that, from memory and pics on the internet, the lower frame looks similar and so there shouldn't be a fitment issue in that area.

Would hi-flows on a 5.1 push it over TK Twist's recommended 330fps?

I thought the twist's max was 350? If not, scratch the hi-flows, I'd rather have the twist.

Performance is suppose to start suffering after 330, though I think ILLusion said it was still acceptable up to 350ish.

The stock gun shoots about 280fps. Putting in high flow valves pushes the velocity to 300-330fps (depending on the brand of valves you get), which lands it right in the sweet zone for Tanio Koba Twist barrels.

That's why I have the Twist barrels on the majority of my GBBs.
