DIY Airsoft Sten Submachine Gun

http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/php/php...pic.php?t=2222

This is one of the coolest DIY airsoft projects I've seen. Using only PVC pipe and wood and some LPEG parts this person has built a Sten submachine gun. It may be fieldable if the person didn't use LPEG Gearbox etc but still cool project.

Well considering the real deal was basically a piece of steel utbing I'd have to say they would be one of the easiest to make.

I might add in the warning that creating a replica firearm is a big crime. Beware.

Just about as illegal as the airsoft guns we own right now...

As long as you keep it out of sight from the public, nothing will happen.

Im sure there are far worse things that people are making out of PVC anyways, potatoe cannons come to mind.

Actually, it breaks the exact same law. Though in this case, I would hesistate to call the end result a replica. It's too rudimentary.

It's actually more legal to find a DEWAT Sten and shimmy a mechbox into it.

Then I stand corrected!
