buying grips
I got someone to ship real 1911 grips. am I going to have a problem receiving them? Do I need any special license to pick them up?

I'm sure it will be fine.
As long as it's not with the frame. |

For future reference, these are the types of questions you should ask *before* committing to a purchase. At any rate, as Mr.Hitman has stated, so long as they're just the grip panels and not a lower receiver you should be fine. As they are not a restricted item, you don't need a license or permit to import them.
