What is this mount for?

Hi guys, I am not sure if this is the right place to post this question but here we go.

Do you know what is that small mount at the very front bottom for?

This is a very small one and not sure what we can do with it.

I wanna say some sort of bipod mount...I really couldn't think of anything else.

it's for a certain type of bipod, I had one similar on one of my first airsoft guns.

So I guess it's a bipod mount, but I still say it's the rail part of a multi-part swivel bipod.
