Classic Army CA8-2 Handguard rails add-on
Hey guys! I was wondering if there's anyway I can install rails on both sides and bottom on the handguard of this AEG.
If you noticed, the bottom of the handguard doesn't seemed to have threads to put screw in and the sides aren't threaded either. Furthermore, the handguard has bipod built into it so will the bottom rail gets in the way? If I can't install side rails thats okay, but I really wanna put a foregrip onto the beast. Here are some pictures on the handguard I've taken off from another site. Bottom: Side: Thanks! |

drill small holes in the sides and screw the rails on. screws not bolts
the bottom doesnt look like it has enough material to have a rail screwed on and be sturdy at the same time with all the holes in it looks like you have a really crappy battery that comes with plastic gearboxed BE guns

well theres no pre made holes on there for bolts and i dunno how youd get a nut all the way down in there for on the other side of a bolt so i think screws would be better. but then the material wall probly isnt thick enough to hold anything on securly
when i say bolts i mean the fine threaded ones with squared off tips like were used to seeing on all our parts. actual screws would be better for attatching something directly onto something like types of plastic

Simply get a G36E railed front grip.
It is the same lenght and will fit there no problem. |

i want to, but at the same time i want to keep the bipod i just thought of something: is it possible if i drill the threads at the bottome and since there aren't enough materials in the bottom to properly hold the rails, how bout i slide a metal plate inside the handguard and let the screws/bolts screw onto the plate? same thing goes with the sides. |
