Which Cylinder?

ok so im getting a metal piston head to go along with a systema m120 spring if that helps. the descriptions on these two products i dont find helpful enough to make a decision on so im asking for your guyses experience
first off this is the one i want, but it doesnt even say what version its for. will it fit in a v3?
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/default/o...-b-type-2.html
and then this one. what threw me off about it was the bore up part. im not familiar with bore up and i dont have bore up parts so i dunno if it would work with regular parts http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/default/o...-m16a2-ak.html

so which one would be best for in a v3 ak gearbox? systema or gaurder?

Depends 100% on your barrel length.

So a standard AK inner barrel is 455mm I believe, so as long as the cylinders discription states that its good for that length then your set. Airsoftparts.ca has variuos styles of cylinders why not check his site out. I would go for the second one you listed their, the guarder cylinder with no port, but I like modify ones better.

You'll want a full cylinder, non-ported.

Certain barrel lengths require certain ported cylinders

ok and also ive heard some guys having some problems fitting cylinders and cylinder heads into their kraken gearboxes. will there be any problems with fitting the gaurder cylinder into the krakens v3? and is there anything wrong with the krakens cylinder head or would i need to buy a new cylinder head to go along with the new cylinder?

If upgrades dont fit in kraken mechbox, change kraken mechbox to TM mechbox, they are good and cheap to buy.

People over say it right, 455mm barrel lenght = cylinder non-ported. When you change cylinder, check cylinder head to make sure o-rings fit thight. check also if piston head (o-ring) seals the chamber good enough (you might have to change the o-ring if too much leaking)

For clarification, if you put a ported cylinder meant for an M4 barrel (363mm) in a M16/AUG length barrel (510mm) or a PSG length (590mm or 650mm), you'll have problems. It won't have a full charge of air and it won't have enough oompf.

And if you put a full cylinder in a shorter barrel, you'll lose fps by quite a bit (30fps from what I've seen). I always saw full cylinders for over 470mm though, ported for under.
