AW upgrade kit for L85

I'm looking into buying an L85 and i've been faced with an option to get a AW upgrade kit with it for £30 extra, however i do not know what this means or does....

can anyone tell me what it is?

also i would like to buy the scope that goes with it and i cant seem to find out where to buy them or find out what they're called, here's a link to pic of the scope,

The "AW Upgrade kit" appears to just be something offered by Airsoft World. Some mods, dunno if there's any internal upgrades:

spacer conversion as well as modifying the sector gear, therefore retaining the original pre-cocking feature on semi-auto... sweet!

The scope in question is called a SUSAT, there are some repro ones available (check HK retailers), or maybe you can find a real surplused one since you're in the UK?

If you're getting that Army Armament L85A1, then the SUSAT is right. For an L85A2, or if you don't care being 100% kosher, you can also use an ACOG (which is now replacing the SUSAT).

Opting for a ACOG will require an adapter rail, or otherwise fitting a MIL-STD-1913 (RIS) rail onto the gun, btw (unlike the SUSAT which is a drop on replacement for the carry handle)
