AK74 parts on an AK47
I'm unfamiliar with modding AK's so I'm not sure if this is even possible, but I currently have a Kraken AK47 that I am looking to convert to an AK74.
I was hoping I would be able to simply purchase AK74 grips + stock as well as a receiver but I'm not sure if it would bolt up or if the dimensions are different. Also, if it is possible does anyone know if AK74 grips and stock can be installed on a AK47 receiver? Or are the mounting points different between the two models. Thanks in advance, |

74 grips wont fit on a 47 receiver and im not sure about the stocks, i think the stock tangs on the recievers are different. but you can get ak47 style stocks that fit on 47's

There are airsoft AK74 style woodkits and receivers that will fit Krakens just fine. That's not nearly enough to make an AK74, and you picked the worst basegun to start, as you'll be replacing everything if you want it to be a correct conversion.
See if you can find a Cyma CM031 and use that as a base.
