War 4 has them listed. $65US. Not bad. Time to order one.

In the pics of the stock alone, it doesn't seem to good looking, but when it's it's on the rest of the G36 it looks balanced.
I remember seeing the G36K awhile back and looking at the stock and thinking it's somewhat small compared with the rest...now I'm happy. Maybe this'll be my next AEG.

Has anyone put the stock on a G36C yet? How's it look?

AFAIK it just came out, so no one outside of Asia probably has one yet.

Haven't seen DOOM yet. I take it they use G36KV's in it?

Oh yeah, here's a bit of background on the real steel version used by Norway.

Just got mine and installed it this week-end.

Couple of notes:

1) On the most compact setting, it's even shorter than the stock G36C stock.

2) Not quite as solid as the G36C stock. I'd rate it a 9/10.

3) Will not "lock" closed when on most compact setting

4) Due to the locking window (the part that locks onto the body of the G36, behind the ejection port) if you don't use a battery in the shape of the G&P nimh one, a regular sub-C cell battery will block the opening and prevent the stock from locking closed.

5) Opens and closes just like the regular M4 stock, except you can yank the entire rear end off, if you lift the latch. Kind of annoying if you're trying to extend it in a hurry, but useful for changing the battery.

6) Heavier. 422 g for the KV, compared to 238g for the C stock.

All in all, great product.

I've been debating getting this stock or sticking on a PEQ battery. Is there still only the 1 G&P battery that is made specifically for this stock? I've only found the 1. Sorry for resurrecting this old thread but I figured since the peeps on here have had it for a while, could get a better picture of reliability.

To my knowledgew G&P are the only ones who make the battery, also if you have the battery installed you cant put the stock to the shortest or fold it if i remember correctly.

The proper battery from G&P allows the stock to fold. You can get Cheapbatterypack to build one if you show them G&P's battery design.

There are three different voltages of G&P batteries for this stock, 8.4V, 9.6v and 10.8v (not sure if they make it anymore). I have both 8.4v and 9.6v. I've been running with the 9.6v for years and have never had any issues, even at -25°C. The battery lasts a hell of a long time, even in my MG36V. The only issue with the 9.6v is the stock will not collapse to the smallest size, but it will with the 8.4v unit. If you go with this setup, paint the spot where the battery is missing black so it's harder to see the pack through the hole in the stock.
