Huang's Multicam CIRAS

Hey guys, I want to get a Multi-Cam vest to go with my BDUs (Propper Crye MultiCam). I was wondering if the Multicam CIRAS vest that Huang sells (here) Would match real Crye Multicam. I don't want to end up looking stupid with 2 different tones of Multi Cam. Thanks!

Even if the tones colors match up they will be different tones. Think of it like this, 100 denier cordura looks alot different tone wise then 1000 denier cordura, and different still from ripstop, or cotton poly twills with the same pattern. Just look at all the woodland stuff out there. And having varied shades isn't a bad idea either since it further breaks up the outline of your body. Just my 2 cents.

Every piece of Huangs replica Multicam I've seen does not match real Cyre Multicam. Not that that's a big deal, no ones replica stuff does. The closest replica M/C I've seen was made by Tacgear and they don't produce it anymore.

I've got a mix of Huang, repro, and real MC and it all mixes well.

The only thing I notice is that if you look through a NVG at it the pattern on some of the pouches vanishes.

Agreed (as with TCLP). Besides, the multicam pattern is what I'll call a "non repeating" pattern. ie, all patterens repeat themselves, it's just how many (material) yards it takes for the patteren has to repeat itself. Multicam has such a wide use of colours, and huge areas of different back ground tones, that you could make two pieces of kit out from the same yard of material, and the two items would not have the same colours/pattern combinations. Some pieces will have the brown back ground, some the olive back ground, some the combination blending. As well, the fore colour pattern of dark browns, greens, and cream, are also extremely deverse, even over a short area of material.....so many possiblities.
This is one of the reasons that multicam works in so many different enviroments.

I have 2 Huang CIRAS. OD and Multicam ( sold it last week...)

The Muiticam pattern is very close to the Propper one. But the color is a little lighter and you can detect a little more pink in the color...

It blends in well but in high lightning conditions its a little more pink...
But the quality is impressive for the price.
