M14 gearbox
Just got an m14 by KART
anyone know the stock m14 mechbox tolerance for fps? can it handle up to 400? also, is it 6mm bushing wholes or 7mm? cheers |

Idon't really know if this will help you at all, but both the TM and D-Boyz version 7 mech boxes will handle 400 fps upgrades nicely (metal bushings and spring upgrades only, original gears). I did upgrades to both of these types over a year ago and both guns haven't had any problems as of yet. So it is safe to assume the the Kart mech box (assuming that it is a good clone box) should also handle the 400 fps upgrades.
As for the bearing hole size, sorry no clue. SHA DO

cheers man, I order 6 mm anyway well see how it goes, il put the pics up since this thing is mine nxt project after the MK46 project is done.
parts ordered: - modify o-ring nozzle - metal double oring cylinder head - modify polycarb full tooth purple piston -aluminum piston head (ball bearing and vented) -modify tappet plate -sorbo pad/s metal 6mm double oil channel bushings (if they fit) still waiting for airsofptarts to have a bb spring guide buttill now...il install these keep it open till i find it. |
