AGM 416

I was wondering where to get a new body because the giant AGM logo doesn't look nice and its a little bit shiny. i was look at this one: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...l?prodID=19752
and i was wondering if I could take the bottom half and put it on also where to get it because it is sold out. if not could you tell me where to get one.

Well I wish I could give you an easy answer, unfortunetly all I can offer is a complicated one.

The part you wish to order is a an Armalite reciever, its in two halfs of course and unfortunetly the lower half of the reciever is restricted for imporation in Canada. Im assuming you are Canadian since this is a Canadian website and your asking your question here. Please take a moment to fill in the details of your profile so we skip this part next time.

Anyways, with the armalite lower being restricted you will not be able to import one yourself with out losing to the CBSA during inspection. Also, AGM being an entirely different brand than that of Guarder, its possible that the AGM upper will also not mate appropriately with the guarder lower, your best bet would be to swap out the reciever entirely.

Now your probly wondering how your going to purchase a new reciever. Well I wish I could tell you that there was a walk in store, but there isnt. There are however a few retailers here at ASC in the retail forums that stock and sell metal bodies. However I do not recall if they have 416 style ones. If you are interested, I suggest looking into aquiring the ASC age verifacation which will grant you the ability to find out who they are. Then contacting these retailers and looking into seeing if maybe one of them could bring one in for you. This only applies if you are Canadian, if you American, google around till you find a retailer that sells one with the correct price tag and buy it and install the whole reciever.

Thank you for that explanation but I was just looking and I found out if i use the body the rails will not line up. I think this one will work: http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.p...983003e03418d7
I don't care about the fact about getting it in Canada I just want to know if it would fit with the rails lining up.

You are correct, there are some brands of 416 bodies out there that only mimic the appearance of the 416 series exterior while not entirely having the correct dimmensions.
I cannot guarantee if the rails will line up perfectly on the Dboys model as I have never seen it in person.
