I am definitely investing in this lol! Completely worth it exspecially if your body runs warm! Ive tried 2 diff pairs of goggles and they both fogged!! Now it took like an 8 hour milsim to fog my second pair with anti fog but the final push is important and i need to see lol. Other people i see wear cheap goggle and dont have any problem at all its kind of annoying I wish i didnt need them but they will be a savior once i have them!

I've always had fogging problems. Last year I was running an older JT paintball mask... because it was a night game, I decided to go with the clear single pane lens rather than the smoke dual-pane that I have. Even with a fresh battery in the fan, I had heavy fogging problems all day.
With the same mask and the dual-pane lens, the fog is quite easy to control, and I don't have to run the fan nearly as much.
This winter, I decided to fix the fogging problems that my Sykes was causing me (rendered whatever goggle I was using opaque in no time flat). I ended up gluing some memory foam around the eye holes to seal the eyes (and thus the goggles) off from my facial sweat. This worked, rendering the Sykes useable with the paintball goggles.
Last game I tried a pair of ESS low-profiles ( no fan ) with a single pane lens. The air flow through them is so good that even without a dual pane I had no problems at all. I'm anxious to try them out in the warmer weather, so that I'll know whether or not to order dual-panes for them. So far I'm really impressed.

Interesting.
I wonder how noisy the fan is. The normal ESS gogles with fan make a noise loud enough to bother me.

There are two fan speeds. You should not be able to hear the lowest speed. High speed is definitely audible.

I normally have my fan on the low setting cause I tend to sweat a bit and its barely audible. To the point where I sometimes have to turn the fan to the next speed to ensure its still working. I find I only use the high speed for a few minutes at most usually between games when I am standing around, and the odd time where I might be in a position where the goggle fogs (usually if I am laying down, etc).

I have them usually on low as welll..more than enough to deal with the average fog caused by sweat and overexertion...I compare it to having anti defrost feature for your car windows for winter...

Depending on the structure of the bridge of your nose, some people have gaps between the goggles and the face and bbs can get through there. This is made worse by the fact that when you are looking down sights or scopes, the line of sight through this gap can lead right to your eye.

This is sort of why there are "asian fit" ESS models.
