Yeah now that I think of it. On my KAR98 when ever I load it up with duster gas and start shooting everytime a bit of gas ejectes from the reciever and I always inahale it (not on purpose, but the last couple of times it has been really bad and I have felt quite dizzy) but then again I was also fireing it in my basement so there's no ventelation.

I cannot see the volume of HFC134a in a can of duster being enough to pose a risk in an enclosed basement. Even if you dumped the whole can at once, I cannot see it causing any side effects. All the gas is doing to kids that get "high" on it is replacing oxygen in the blood stream, causing a mild buzz thats really the brain lacking good ole O2. They're starving the brain of oxygen to get high, its really fucking smart of them. Not to mention the brain freeze they must get from the cold dry gas.

For us GBB owners, I really do not think we have anything to worry about, so far as health risks. I fire my GBB's indoors mostly, and while I notice an odour from the gas, I have never once noticed any side effects from it.

Kids will sniff anything to get high it seems. Gasoline, weed killer, insecticide, model glue, super glue, epoxy, spray paint.. fuck, if it emits fumes, kids will sniff it. Not all kids, but some really bloody dumb ones.

Ace is right, in a enclosed room 134 shouldn't pose a threat. I've dumped a whole can at once but I was using it to clean out my computer

There's 6 billion hoo-mons, we could easily lose 5.5 billion people overnight and we wouldnt even be close to being an endangered species.

well if there taking something as harmless as duster away from minors, the need to make sure any sprays including - window cleaner, soaps , airfreshner,

anything can give someone that "high" sensation. its chemicals blocking oxygen to the brain, anything with a smell when breathed heavily can do it.

ever been whoosy in the perfume department at sears? around gasoline? washing your floors on your hands and knees?

look at this.

HFC-134a has very low acute inhalation toxicity. The lowest concentration that causes mortality in rats -- the approximate lethal concentration (ALC) -- for a 4-hour exposure is greater than 500,000 ppm. Anaesthetic-like effects, such as lethargy and incoordination, are observed in rats at very high inhalation concentrations (greater than 200,000 ppm).

hey wait then that means that green gas which is (hfc 134a) would not kill you if you inhale it?

so dustergas has a lower lethal concentration? so it would kill you faster?

They actually have an award for killing yourself stupidly. The darwin award. in the future I see thicker and more editions of the darwin awards.

Its not nesseserily a bad thing if people are killing themselves stupidly the world is overcrowded anyways.
Just give kids that do that some carbon tetrachloride or ethylene glycol and get them to sniff it (in the case of ethylene glycol mix it in with some wine or something and give it to them). It actually would be helping the world killing off the weak link of humans and slowing the overpopulation.

Its always been the survival of the fittest.

so what youre saying is that their basically the same product. Their both used as a propellent for GBB's but the chemical composition is different? They both do the same job? or does one have more "kick" and is more of a propellant

Just A Note That R134a Is The Chemical In Ac Systems In All Cars Since 1993 And It Is A $500,000 Fine If Caught Despencing It Into The Air. It Was The Replacment For R12 Freon
