I was thinking of a shotgun, but i like GBB for the whole coolness factor, nothing is more satisfying then seeing that slide move back and forth and feeling that kick, but thanks for your opinion -Choda

The ability to sheerly out power your enemy via immense gun power can be very appreciated. Sure pistols have the most control & manueverability but a lot of the time you need more power. Whom may I ask informed you of the info you have? |

MP5-K's are very nice for CQB seeing how I have used one for many Splatters and Outdoor games and still pwn3d with it. Pistols are also nice but I like having $40 80rnd Mags versus $70 Pistol mags and need a propellant.

i use a G3-SG1 and i kick ass. a G3 MC51 is a good pick or a G3-A4 or any of the MP5's that are out there. once heard a FAMAS is pretty good for CQB. but it is all up to you.

CQB, prolly the MP5K. its about as small as you can get.
I own a hi-capa and its amazing. Small, powerful, and accurate. for CQB, you just want something small....no optics, no BS. |

P90, hands down. Maruzen MP5K is a fun GBB. I owned one for a while, and was happy with the performance and reliability. I put a PDW stock on it, for extra stability.

See, thing is with CQB, at least the house at one of our local fields, is that semi only is allowed. So using a sub gun or compact AEG doesn't really give much of an advantage. Add in, that to properly use even an MP5K sized gun, you have to expose more of your body to shoot it. A pistol, you can reduce your body exposure to almost nothing around corners. Only need to get the gun around the edge, and one eye. My opinion, but still............. |

Mp5k, it's more maneuverable than the P90 and you don't have to shoulder the thing to hold it comfortably. The vertical foregrip comes in handy too.

H&K G3 SAS does nicely in a pinch... nothing quite expresses your love like a 500rd Hi-Cap SAS on rock 'n roll... plus you get compact, accurate, reliable, options (3 positions for rails on foregrip and mount rail on top), and most importantly.... LCF...

because the UMP costs around 550-600$
he doesn't want to spend too much just for a CQB weapon. Also if he goes the route of a GBB Pistol (ex: TM Hi-Capa/WEI-Tech Hi-Capa) he gets a pistol with maximum manuverablity and performance in the palm of his hands; that also has a 31rd capacity per magazine. you won't need more than 2 extra magazines if you aren't so trigger happy.
