Well, no family members in the house or not, chances are you'll break something or destroy your walls. All because you're aiming for them doesn't mean it'll hit them. I know my FA-MAS, which clocks a constant 260 (yes, only 260) doesn't just put a dent in the wall, it puts a decent sized hole in it. I'd hate to see what my AUG or one of the various GBBs would do.
Also, that law exists. Doesn't stop most people from plinking in the sanctity of their basements, but it's an actual bylaw and we have it here too.

No, our guns just don't suck.
My friend's SPR went off while he was working on the internals, it made a hole in a solid wood door. And these are walls- what about televisions, furniture, ornaments, pictures, pets? I mean, you can remove those all, but it's a hell of a lot more trouble then it's worth. I can see what you mean if you shoot the wall with a springer that shoots .12s, but a Marui's going to damage it.

If you don't believe us that drywall is fragile enough to dent, then go out to crappy tire, get a $30 crapsoft gun and shoot the wall from a decent range like 15 feet. See if it dents. Now imagine a gun shooting nearly twice that speed.
Seriously, the majority of your posts are mind numbingly filled with idiocy. Do some more reading and get to know the facts before posting kneejerk replies. |

Don't play in the house period. Anyway, it's not a good drill when you wear soxes and just carry your gun or rifle. You need to do it while shooting and using full gear. An habitable house is note suitable, because damage ensue.
The city limit thing is more an Ontario law. Some city in Québec have a airgun law, that may be applyed to airsoft, but seriously, that law is only valid outide of your private property.

Yes they will make holes in the wall. Why do we shoot each other with it? Well why else would you have airsoft guns? They're for PLAYING AIRSOFT. They only make holes in the wall because walls are a hard surface with no give and also not that strong.
