I've heard stories about the Kraken's shitty lower reciever, but I've heard worse stories about Cybergun's horrible quality control. Buy a container of their ultrasonic BB's, and you'll see what I mean.
@Styrak: If you feel the need to flame, go elsewhere, because nobody wants it here. I got the point Drake's post, and I did before you came along. Maybe you should read the entire thread... So before this becomes a flame-fest, let's get back on topic. |

He wouldnt have told you to STFU had you actually understood what was said to you.
You have a sig damning Cybergun products. You made this thread saying you just got an Aftermath Kraken. Aftermath Kraken AK is a CYMA rebrand. Cybergun uses CYMA rebrands for their AK line. Therefore pointing out the irony of this thread and your sig. Do you understand now? PS: He wasnt flaming you. He was giving you sound advice. |

I understood Drake's post just fine, and yes it was a bit funny, but Cybergun still is and will always be a joke.
BTW: Getting, not got. |

You monkeys...
The cybergun boycott is not because of their quality, it is because of their attempt to monopolize the US airsoft market by forcing retailers to carry their products and suing companies over the use of generic likenesses etc. The term "keep garbage off the field" isnt in reference to their quality at all it refers to their shitty business practices if you want to boycott garbage then keep shitty clearsoft and crapsoft off the field, anyone asking advice on walsoft or ctsoft should be banned immediately. Spread the word to fellow airsofters, if they don't buy the stores won't carry it, economics.

Their full metal Galils and Sig556's definitely do not suck (CYMA rebrands, but it's still "CyberGun"), as well as a lot other guns in their line (which are all rebrands).

If the new CYMA's are nice, then I'll buy CYMA. I refuse to buy Cybergun, not even for other people. Hell, I won't even tell people to buy it.

Cybergun Bio-BB's are awesome! I bought 2500 about 6 months ago, and when I tried using them today, they exploded in a cloud of dust when they hit something! Can't Be good for my gun though

By the looks of it, at least half of the CYMA products being sold in Canada are actually Cybergun/Palco (any AK with the white Kalashnikov logo on the side). Despite the internals not being crappy quality overall they still run quite nicely (better than the Kalash/Dboys, even though the new all steel Kalash have vastly superior parts); I guess it's durability that's at stake (I never found out, I like building my own mechboxes: I just liked being able to get a cheap all metal AK).
The full metal KJW GBBs (Cybergun adds trademarks) are also excellent performers. Granted, the bulk of Cybergun's products are still clear crap. But then again that means the Kraken is the inferior CYMA internals in a cheap plastic body, so again irony. The boycott bit, in relation to the lawsuits, is sorta dumb. They own licensing rights, they're enforcing them on businesses violating trademarks (I think that may be how they managed to get licensing rights to begin with, by agreeing to go after the unlicensed knockoffs on behalf of the trademark owner). Either way, the banner is poorly worded/misleading -- probably the work of some outraged American 14 y.o. :P
