SD Hi-capa slide Fitment issue

Hello ASC!

I jsut got my SD 5.1 slide today, and Have a few fitment issues with it....

1) the Rear sight doesnt seem to fit....

2) the inner barrel is really tight in the outer barrel... so should i sand the inner barrel a bit? or the outer barrel?

3) the LUGS on the slide are straight , instead of beeing angled at 45 degrees) like it should be on a TM hicapa slide.... (should i dremel?) this causes the chamber to not "lock" in place.... so it doesnt fit properly....

please help me!

thx!

What inner barrel do you have?
What outer barrel do you have?
Looks like you got a hybrid slide, do you have a hybrid ported outer barrel?

Don't dremel the slide, that's how the slide is supposed to be when you use the right parts for it.

Yes that looks about right.

Looks right, only way you can make it really fit if you throw it back on the frame..

They should fit the same and function exactly the same way where it matters.

No, I'm saying you can't really tell when your pistol is in halves.
Throw it back on the reciever and rack it back.

About the inner barrel and outer barrel not fitting. Is there pieces of metal in the outer barrel? Is there crap on your inner barrel?
Have you threw on some oil to push the inner barrel through the outer barrel?

Have you installed the rear sight before you put in the blow back chamber?

Take a picture of the hopup + inner barrel and the chamber + outer barrel so we can see it.

UPDATE.....pics!

So manage to fit the rear sight....
And for the barrel, they has a inner screw for the front sight and it was blocking the inner barrel, so i sand it down a litte and it fits perfectly

heres is a preview picture of the build, more(and better pictures) to come later in the pistol thread....

Here is how the barrel/chamber fits....

is that correct?

Thanks

PS: for the fake screws, and the sti logo for the grip, can i use crazy glue? Epoxy? Since its ABS plastic im not sure .......

Super glue is fine for the logo and screws
