KSC Glock 19

I have one of these babies, but its currently broken. I am looking for a new one and I see there are two versions of this gun, a Japanese and a Taiwanese version. Can anyone tell me the differance berween the two and is there a way to find out which version I currently have?

The Japanese version would have a lower FPS then the Taiwanese version of the glock to comply with Jap laws. The Jap version also wouldn't handle propane as well as the Taiwan Glock.

AFAIK... KSC Japan comes in plastic only, also they don't have whited out trades. KSC Taiwan comes with full metal (all of them, or just some? I'm not sure) and has whited out trades. QC on Japan versions is probably to a higher degree, and as Shooting Addict already stated, the muzzle velocity on KSC Japan GBB's will be lower (won't shoot reliably on high pressure gasses, but will be extremely reliable on whatever the recommended gas is... probably 134A).

Then again, I'm not an avid supporter of KSC GBB pistols, so what do I know?

The only difference is that the Japan version has stricter inspectors for quality control.

^^^ This has been common knowledge for a while. ^^^

The other statements are new to me, and I've owned quite a few KSC G19s over the years (two are Japanese, as well as a few other KSC GBBs I own, have JASG stamped in the frame somewhere depending on the gun model).

Well then, I also stand corrected. I've only had experience with KSC Japan Glock 17's (from back when there was no KSC Taiwan) and KWA cansoft's with the NS2 system. Ergo, why did I even post in this section, I don't really have all the information?

You have learned something from being corrected, so it's all good for posting here.
