AEG jamming from time to time.
Problem: my gearbox just jams itself from time to time. Like it will be shooting just normal for 20BBs then suddenly from no apparent reason this occurs:
Youtube Video: YouTube- MOV00080.MP4 Sorry for the bad quality of the video, it was shot with my SonyEricsson mobile phone. I "fixed" the problem a few time by jerking it around from Auto to Semi and back, and it starts shooting again, but 15-20BBs later it stops again. Now i bought a new motor plate from Guarder, and i tried to adjust the height of the motor and it does not help. If i unscrew it, the motor spins freely, but if i screw it in just slightly it does what's in the video. I have no clue, what could possibly go wrong. The funny thing is that it shoots normally for a few BBs, then suddenly stops, but if it pull the trigger long enough on Auto/Semi/Auto/Semi/... it starts shooting again. Most likely it is a crappy battery, try someones proven higher voltage higher MaH battery and it will probably work.
If they gun is upgraded and not shimmed properly the no name batteries will not pull stronger springs. You can hear the battery trying to move the motor but there is not enough juice.

I've got intellect 9.6V NiMh 1600mah battery.
It's a second hand AEG the dude before was runnin' it on Li-pos with no problems what so ever, maybe i should do the same? Are 7.4 Li-po batteries OK, or should i go for the 11.1V? |

I have the same battery and my gun was doing that. I just fullest charged the battery and it runs fine again!

Is it stopping when firing on semi, yet will start again when you switch to full and back to semi? Asking because that's what it looks like you are saying, and it most likely because you are half pulling the trigger once in a while which causes the issue. Try pulling the trigger fully to the stop every time and get back to us on if it keeps jamming. Then we can look elsewhere for the problem.
Start with the simplest, then dig deeper. |

I'm pulling the trigger fully, I think the problem lies in the battery really. I'm giving it a full charge and I'll post it up if this fixed the problem.

It is likely there is not enough power to run the gun if this guy sold you a older battery he had laying around. My upgraded M4 would not fire more than a few shots on a small battery that would fit in the foreguard.

Get a bigger battery, or downgrade your gun to a softer spring.
Could also be a bad shimming job. |

What if i start running Li-Po batteries?
11.1V 12C or 15C; something in that range. |

Make sure your gearbox is set to handle the LiPos. They can put a lot of stress on everything.

If the gearbox isn't upgraded unless it's a Real Sword or a PTW or somthing the 11.1v lipo will destroy your internals stick to a 7.2 for lipos

I ran a bone stock Echo1 V3 box on a lipo for months with no problem whatsoever, same with an A&K V2 |

Don't go lipo, you don't need it.
Get a large cell/type battery. |
