G&P M4 Buffer Tube Diemensions

Could someone with calipers or a reel steal magpul stock on a G&P tell me if it is Commercial or Milspec Diameter? Every forum I read about the G&P M4 says something different about the buffer tube. I am looking to get a real steel stock for my G&P M4 and I know that Commercial fits Milspec but not the other way around, but I would like the best fit possible so, if you could please tell me which is it. Milspec is 1.148 inches and Commercial is 1.168. Also, if I get Milspec and its too small, would it be possible to fit it to the tube?

Thanks.

I have a G&P stock tube with a RS Magpul CTR stock. Im not sure if my stock is Commercial or Milspec, but when i slide the stock, there is a bit of give. Its not firm and stiff.
