Tokyo Marui Desert Warrior 4.3

hey guys, maybe you could help narrow my search.
does the Tokyo Marui Desert Warrior 4.3 have a variant where it's black?
I've been looking at this gun but i just can't buy the desert tan color .. i prefer my guns black

i really like the idea of having a 1911 style pistol with the RIS rail on the front .. so far kj has a nice MEU but i kinda wanna stick with TM.
unless you suggest otherwise of course
thanks guys, appreciate your assistance.

You could always just buy a Hi-Capa 4.3 from TM. Otherwise you could always check out a KJ KP-05? Or just paint your Desert Warrior.

Well, I'm not saying that. I'm no expert, but I have handled the Desert Warrior a few times. It seems to use the magazines the MEU uses, which I guess means that it *might* take standard M1911 magazines, meaning it probably isn't exactly the same as a HiCapa. That said, cosmetically, I think they look similar. Just my opinion, though.

yea i found two very high res pics and compared them .. aside from the grip, the front rail, the engravings and the trigger, they are very similar.
are you familiar with the KJ 1911 MEU

No idea, but it's common enough that someone will come along soon that has one, I'm sure. Just from what I've read, it looks like the only MEU clone with a different trigger. And again, it looks like it uses those MEU mags. But if you're looking for something along the same lines, and you were willing to pay for a TM, why not consider a TM MEU?

Desert warriors are essentially just 1911 with a Hicapa slide.

Therefore it uses a single stacker magazine witch holds less BBs and much less gas compared to regular Hicapas.

For gaming purposes I'd say get a hicapa instead

Oh. I think several clone brands have "1911 tactical"s for that black, 1911 look with a rail. Way more expensively, you could get a HiCapa and put one of those slide spacer things in, and put on a 1911 slide. You wouldn't have actually a 1911, but it wouldn't look too different if you used the smaller 4.3 mags, I guess.

h mm ... well the hi capa 5.1 is an amazing piece of art.
it has everything i want in a pistol, genuine sound, rail, good blow back, but it doesn't have the 1911 look that i desire.

you know, my dream pistol would be D&L Sports Professional Model Longslides .... i'd cream myself every time i looked at them
who knows, i got my m79, and am working up to getting an SL8 maybe i'll get lucky.

TM is coming out(assuming later this year) with "Night Warrior":
http://www.hyperdouraku.com/event/ho...005/index.html

Scroll down.

Basically a DW 4.3's rail frame in dark grey-ish color with a MEU-ish upper(5" instead of 4.3, with correct slide scalloping, and 10-8 style rear sight as opposed to Novak). Uses the same MEU mag.

the slide spacer is only for putting a hicappa slide on a 1911 frame not the other way around
