solid stock to collapsible (ICS M4)

I got an ICS m4 with solid stock. I wanna get a collapsible stock. I,ve been told ICS need specific items for that. What exactly do I need apart from the collapsible stock itself?

I think it's great that you are curious about your rifle, however I do not believe that having 4 thread on one rifle is necessary.

I do believe than those information can be acquire from net easily. I think, there is an ICS bible floating around somewhere.

Anyway, I will try my best to assist you.

Any buffer tube specify for AEG can be fit for ICS M4A1 with more or less modification. All you need to do is sand the stock adapter on both side to accept other stock. It might won't slide in easily but keep sanding it down until it slide in bit by bit to try out, the worst part is hammer can be used if you lose your patience.

I also attach two pictures to let you know where you have to sand. Hope it help.

I recommend you this buffer tube, http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/d-boys-sp...or-m4-m16.html, they are great for the price plus it could fit a large battery in there.

all too true. I'm very sorry about that, I just thought separating my questions in different threads would make it easier for everybody...

thanks for the heads up though, I'll be more careful.

Thanks for the tip, KND. I'll deffo look it up. Although isn't that link for the whole stock altogether ? Would that D Boys one work with the bit of modification you mentioned?

Yes, It would work. The link is for the whole stock. You better buy the whole stock than just buffer tube since it would cheaper than way though from D-Boy. Just wait a bit, it would be back in stock regularly.
