Shit ton 'o' co2...

I say fuck 12 gram co2s, so I went on a venture to get as much co2 as I possibly can. This is the abomination that was born.

It is a KWC Taurus PT 247 with a 20 oz. co2 canister fit to where the 12 gram would go. I will take pics of the actually modifications and post them shortly.

Ugh that really kills the realism to airsoft since there is a giant co2 can sticking out of your mag. But it's a good idea for saving a couple bucks.

Well a 20 oz tank does seem excessive, but I bet the 9oz ones would be ok. Or seeing as you already have a the mod for the tank threads why not run a remote made from micro line. It could also act as your lanyard so you don't lose the pistol. A 9 oz tank will give about 600 shots with a pistol.

That actually seems like a great idea.

Cool stuff.

I'd love to see how you did it, I'd love to do one myself and run the remote line as my lanyard as mentioned above.

Not at all, the mag release is very sturdy.

I've had a TM HiCAPA and TM Deagle hooked up to HPA

Of course not direct tank to mag but with a hose to a remote line.

Works really well, nice crisp shots each time, very consistent but most useful outdoors in cold weather games ... I would definitely apply this modification to SMGs though where cooldown usually becomes an issue for full-auto.

Is there any way to modify the kwc to be full auto? Now that Im done with this mod, i realize its impracticality (because the mag only holds like 18 rounds). so even if I have enough co2 for 500 rounds, I still need to constantly load the mag. Any other suggestions as to how to make this more useful besides the remote line option? Full auto with extended mag? Box mag?

that much C02 attached to a mag that doesnt hold half as many bbs as it would take to use all that gas but intresting idea all the same

yuck! kind of pointless. would be interesting to see you either change mag or carry multiple mags with their individual 20 oz tank.

on the side of practicality, why don't you get 5 or so mags and run multiple macro lines to a distribution block fed off of one tank...
