Upgrading VSR 10, TBB Lengths
Hi everyone, so I am upgrading a socom gear r700 (vsr 10 clone) and I plan on making it the best it can be. I was looking into accuracy upgrades and was originally going to get a 430mm pdi 6.01 TBB for $120 or so, but me wanting the utmost accuracy wondered if getting a silencer and running a 550mm pdi 6.01 would make a large enough difference in accuracy to make it worth the $170, and $40-50 silencer and $10 adapter so in total around $110 more than just a standard 430mm. So in conclusion, is the extra 120mm of barrel length worth $170 extra? (although the silencer looks cool and all and that does justify a bit of the price to me ) Thanks in advance everyone!

You need a bore-up everything if you're going to 550mm

It's very expensive...
It's roughly $500 worth of upgrades to bore-up. I stuck with the 430mm barrel for mine ... Aslo, don't spend all that money on the PDI barrel, go with the Laylax 6.03, I had a PDI 6.01 and a 6.05... and the Laylax had no noticeable difference in performance and it's about half the price. |

ok man, so you don't think a laylax 6.01 over a 6.03 will make a difference? if not I am ordering the 430mm 6.03 barrel tonight Also, this is probably a VERY stupid question, but I want to buy this spring guide Link but it says its for the G Spec, will this also work in the pro? I thought internally other than the barrel and cylender head it was the same? Thanks for the replys by the way.
