vsr 10 bolt problem

hey, i am having a problem with my hfc vrs-10 airsoft. i have recently bought a new spring (http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=5713) and it fired once or twice then when i brought the bolt back, it clicks, then jumps forward.i took apart the gun and found that the piston (where thetrigger sear hold) is being ripped away(maybe cuz it plastic)?

Welcome to the world of cheap clone snipers.

The cheapest solution is a Laylax red piston. About 50$ US + shipping.

The best solution is either a full cylinder from PDI + the V-trigger

Or Laylax's Zero trigger set with the orange piston (color is important, the rear end is made different)

It can become a good one... if you don't install crap parts in it.

The price difference IS WORTH IT.

The V-Trigger or zero trigger changes the way the whole trigger works, makes it a lot more reliable and easier to pull.

You can install that piston in the gun, but don't expect to hit a man sized target at 100m... might not even to get consistent shots. There is that thing called tolerence. It can work perfectly, sometimes or just not at all.

the new triggers system cost like almost as much as the gun. but cutting the new spring will make it abit less strong right? without breaking it?

...

A cheap sniper rifle that works "ok" starts at 500$.

HFC is the cheapest/crapiest VSR-10 clone on the market, so no, that is not really a good rifle.

My rifle is currently worth 1400$ not including the accessories (scope, bipod, mags, sling, etc.)

Cutting the spring to a certain extend can help, but you will have to change the piston and sears every 2000-5000 BB until you properly upgrade it.

As I said, welcome to airsoft sniper rifles.

By the way, it is not elitism before you imply it.

If you want to save quite a bit, get AV. There is some "used" parts for sale in the classifieds.

If you are under 18, it might be better to leave it broken... maybe consider paintball in the mean time.
