Ciras vs mbss
Hello ASC. I've been playing for a few years now, and I've always used a RRV, but I'm looking to change that. I've narrowed it down to a ciras or mbss as stated in the title, I am a big guy and one of my worries is sizing, as i'm a large fellow at 6' 270lbs, and reviews only tell one so much about sizing. I'm also just curious as to other users preferances.

Go with a CIRAS of your sizing. MBSS might be a little too small for you.

The great thing about both a ciras and MBSS is that they are adjustable. I'm sure both a ciras and MBSS are adjustable enough to accommodate your size.
I currently use an MBSS myself and find it very comfortable. You lose a little bit of real estate space but I personally dont carry that much anyways. I do recommend getting some form of fake plate inside each half though. Rigidity is extremely important or at least in my eyes it is. With out plates it just feels like everything is kinda saggy and flopping around despite the fact that the straps are all done up. With plates everything seems to sit properly with no issues. Although admitingly you may find it a little small. By chance are there fellows players who you could perhaps try on their rigs and see how they feel? That would go a long way in helping you make your decision.

CIRAS... FTW
They can get heavy with all that you can carry with them, and a bit warm, but they are comfortable, and carry that weight well. If you want something to carry a lot of stuff a CIRAS will do the job perfectly.

Fuck CIRAS go for MBSS.
What do you need for airsoft? Radio : Check Mags: Check Utility: Check Hydration: Check MBSS covers all your needs and is less bulky than the CIRAS. Can be worn as a standalone or with a soft armor carrier. This is a pic of my old MBSS setup (it's an original and have no clue if airsoft companies make L/XL like this one)

MBSS is lightweight, and packs all your needs. CIRAS is more bulky.
If you're a heavy shooter, go with CIRAS for a heavy loadout. |
