the current boots i have is a 5.11 ATAC storm, but its slowly falling apart
i would like to retire these one and get a new pair but it has to have no side zipper. So please recommend a pair.
*side note, the store that i bought my boots from carries only 5.11 and its super price tag on it, 180 dollars and above and carries some SWAT originals

Git yerself some Jungle boots or some Desert boots (the old US ones) and get em resoled with Vibram soles... Nice n comfy and Super durable... I've had my Jungle boots for almost 6 years of almost everyday and airsoft/army wear

Like mentioned above, go to your local surplus. Jungle is the way to go as they have more ventilation. They are meant to be wet. You don't really have to spend A hundred bucks right away.

Above all else, the boots must fit properly. If they fit properly and are cheap, they might not last long, but you won't have problems with your feet. I wore the same pair of $30.00 jungle boots while in the military for 5 years before I had to replace them. Mind you I didn't go in the field every day, but for airsofting they should work great.

If you're looking for something to use in cooler weather, try finding a pair of MkIII's, IMO the best issued boots in the CF.
