KSC Glock 23F Fire Selector Switch

Hey guys, I've got a KSC Glock 23F Metal Slide that I've had for a loooong time. The gun itself works great however every once and awhile the fire selector switch will pop out after firing a shot (usually in semi-auto). The first time this happened I was alittle distraught as I lost the little ball inside the firing selector switch. I was able to fix the problem by shear luck as I noticed a #7 piece of birdshot (Shotgun lead) worked great (I now carry some loose birdshot lead with me in the field just incase), but this doesn't solve the problem of the switch still popping out every once and awhile, It's just something I've accepted but if anyone has experienced the same problem or has any ideas on how to fix it I would love to hear about it.

Thanks alot for your time,

Joe

P.S. Sorry if this has already been covered but after a pretty solid search I haven't been able to find anyone else with the same problem

If it is like my KSC G26C, there should be a set screw under the rear sight, that jams the pin that holds the selector switch in place.

Hey audi_bhoy,

I don't know if the construction is the same as your Glock 26 but I took a look for that screw, I assume when you say under the rear sight you mean on the bottom of the slide (like if it was removed from the gun) not actually UNDER the rear sight. Anyways on the 23F there is only one screw I can see that would fit this description, it's a pretty average sized phillips screw but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the fire selector switch (except being in rear of the slide), and it defiantly doesn't seem to hold it in place. Sorry about the late reply but I was trying to get some pictures up till my camera decided to stop co-operating. I was able to find a parts diagram http://www.airsoftforum.com/board/UP...K-t187947.html , The screw I'm talking about is part #18 in any of the diagrams, there is a specific diagram for the 23F and the 26C, perhaps you could tell me the part number of the screw you were talking about?

Thanks again for your help

Actually, on a 23F diagram **23F Diagram** it seems to be the part #259. This set screw is physically under the rear sight, so you got to push the sight to the right side (when pointing gun) to access that tiny set screw. This set screw holds the part #258 in place, which holds the selector assembly #255.

Hope this helps!

Well you beat me on the last post! You may try wgcshop, they had a lot of KSC stock, I'll check this and PM you when I find it.

EDIT: link sent via PM, they got it stock!
