Delta Ring Removal? Proper way?
Upon inspecting my CA M15A4 SEALs I noticed things were not aligning, on top of my outer barrel being stripped to shit.
My ultimate goal is to replace the outer barrel due to the complete stripping of the threads however when looking at it the outer barrel is locked in there some how. The delta ring appears to have threads however a simple turn with my hands brought no budge to it whatsoever. Im actually a little worried to use some pliers due to more stripping. Is there a proper way to remove the delta ring so I can remove my outer barrel? |

Armorer's wrench (like LastSpartan linked to) is the way to do it.

Actually it's much easier to tighten it with an armorer's wrench for CA's case. I think there's not gas tube on it. So just removing the ras would give you access to the barrel nut and tighten.
Things would be a bit complicated if there's a gastube installed. Have to remove the front sight, remove gas tube and tighten...then align the gas tube hole with the barrel nut. If you ever come across brampton, PM me we'll tighten it.

Armourer's Wrench and Castle Nut Wrench.
Every Armalite owner should have one. Its a basic tool for maintainance and repairs.
