ATS Mag Pouch
I got some ATS mag pouches in and had a question about the attachment.
Instead of the one half of the button being on the pouch, and the other on the molle strap, they have on half on a flap that goes over top. (See picture). So my question is, does that entire button/flap sandwich jam underneath the molle webbing on the platform I'm attaching to? Don't really see how else it would work, but maybe I'm missing something.

That looks like an anti-friction tab, and nothing else, based on its placement. I would think that it's to prevent the snap from rubbing against your rig and wearing it out.
Where it's placed, that snap should be under the rig's webbing, which would create a high-friction area. It's not a locking strap, as it's got nothing to lock to (being under the webbing and all). It could be a detachment tab to make taking the pouches off easier. I'd just stuff it under the webbing and call it a day (as you're supposed to thread it through the webbing on the rig and on the pouch alternately).

Alright. That's what've I've done. I just have to yank on the strap pretty hard to get it exposed enough to snap the button on, and then have to shove that whole sandwich under the platform's webbing. It fits though, so I guess it's all good.
