Dboys M4 Front set w/Silencer problems, sorta.

Ok well since I transformed my M16 into a M4 the Dboys front set i put on it has 2 things. The barrel sort of has barrel wobble. It's not like when i move the gun left and right the barrel goes that way. Its wear if i greab the barrel i can make it move up down left right or w.e way i want a few mm. Now the problem that is wierd to me is that my Dboy's rails can turn 360 and more. The rail itself can spin around and round. Is this supposed to happen? Here's a link to the product.

DBoys is a sh*t brand. I think that answered both questions.

And this is where cheaping out gets ya. Hehehe~

All in seriousness, Yes. DBoys is 'very' shitty. Lowest of low in some cases. Used to own a metal body from them and it was milled so terribly that the two halves fit together crooked.

Price reflects quality, remember that.

Did you put the front set into the delta ring?

Also did you tighten down the barrel? If you have a plastic body there will be some movement just because it's plastic. If you have a metal body there should be nearly no play (that's basically a one piece metal barrel).

Elitism can be dumb, sure.

But when you cheap out to the extreme and get a part that doesn't fit right... Look who's getting the shit end of the stick. I'll gladly be elitist about quality products which are an assured fit, rather than gamble with my money and change getting a very, shitty brittle product.

You get what you pay for.

Most probably just missing a shim or two at the delta ring. Same this goes for RS parts, so unless there is some shitty quality RS parts made by Knight Armaments, it is just because the tolerences are not perfect or not designed around the gun he is using.

Getting a shim set for the barrel or using a thin o-ring in front of the barrel, between the nut and the barrel would solve the issue.

Elitism always sucks, there is never a good reason to say "Does not work because you cheaped out".

I'll agree that's true, buy Dboys actually makes decent AKs. I know a couple of people with them, and a friend's Dad had a V1 Ak74 for 3 years, and still had no problems. I didn't really mean an insult to anyone, but I'm sick of boards where people flame any gun thats not a TM or CA, I don't know how this one is, as I've just joined. However, several ones I've been to are that way.
