WE scar or KJW 10/22

Guys which gun would you go for?

KJW 10/22 is semi only but the WE scar only has a 30 round mag which would lead to semi use anyway.

Both are in the same area for fps.

The 10/22 does not have any problems (that I know of), but the scar has some issues but seems to have been fixed.

Mag cost are the same.

Cost of the gun is pretty much the same.

Anyone used both and can say anything on range/accuracy?

KJ has better accuracy and range. WE can go auto in a pinch. KJ Does not have an npas yet so you have have to use duster.

Has RaTech put out a long mag yet? I was looking but didn't find it for sale.

Also Eeyore you have them in stock (KJ)? I'll be wanting one soon with 2 extra mags. If you could pm me with a price that would be great.

Yes RAT has put out a long 9mm style mag for the KC02.

Only a 30 round mag? Just about every assault rifle in the world has a 30 round mag. Semi is much more useful anyways, auto fire is only hand for close situations where volume of fire is needed.

the 2 rifles are both totally different, mags are different in cost and in maintenance.

The KJ has seemingly less work to it however the Scar has more parts.

Both have different roles they are good for. What you need to do is figure out which one fits your play style better.

I don't know anything about the 10 22. But I will warn you that the we scar is an endless, expensive battle for maintenance.

Well I looked at the kjw 10/22 first as a DMR. But then a saw the we scar for about the same cost.

My line of thought was both are gas guns in the same fps area therefore maybe the scar with a longer barrel (a upgrade I was going to do with the kj) could be used as dmr. The scar would offer more stock options and full auto. The problem is I had no idea about the list of problems the scar has or the range of each weapon.

With that settled I'm going with kjw and have placed a order for one.

Thank you guys for helping me out with this.
