....I would not, due to low quality...everything, and the 3/4 cylinder. If you are dropping it in an M16, you want a full cylinder. Maybe look at something like this http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/upgrade-p...m16a2-aeg.html
. I would try at looking at G&P's line of CMB's as well.

I haven't installed a systema box nor have I used one in one of my own guns but I know enough people, that won't build a box, who swear by them. Btw, from now on, I will only be using scratch built modify boxes for any of my AEG's. ASCU included of course. |

I believe it. For myself, I use scratch built mechboxes, I trust my shimming and tuning, not someone else's, but for some people pre built just works out better. (A) cheaper, (B) a lot less headaches. The only thing that concerns me about the KA box, is the aluminum piston head they use.....never a good idea.

Ya, it was mostly the headache of fixing/upgrading my gearbox that got me thinking about a drop in one...
I think im just going to suck it up and buy the new gears i need

Ya sorbo takes care of the shock on the mechbox, but aluminum weighs more than most thermal composite plastics , so it can be down fall for people trying to keep they're piston assembly light weight. All that aside, the mechbox seems to be of good quality and a good mix between price and performance, so I think it would be a good choice. As for the modify modular kits, there pretty sweet . I got a set of torque ups in a trade, and I'm just waiting for a test gun to try them out in. I personally will still shim my gear sets the old fashioned way, the modular sets are of very good quality, but I prefer my methods.

Yeah. I've shimmed my share of boxes. Just takes too much of my time to bother. My m4 still has most of the G&P gears (excluding the broken sector gear) but the rest have the modular kits. Makes spring swaps go much faster when you don't have to fiddle with getting everything back in place. The ASCU makes things even faster with not having to fight a AR latch or trigger. A ton fewer pieces to lose too! lol It literally takes me more time getting the mech boxes out over a spring swap, cleaning, maintenance and relube of the box itself!
