kjw meu hammer not cocking???
i have a kjw kp07 meu which i am trying to upgrade the hammer because it broke. i bought a nova steel hammer but every time i rack the slide, the hammer goes to either normal full cock, half-cock or gets caught under the slide. What ive noticed is that the hammer doesnt get pushed back all the way and springs back to the half cock position. I have 3 different sears including the stock one but they all have the same problem so i am sure the hammer is the problem. also when i fire it goes full auto. does any one know whats wrong????

Sounds like you installed the "finger spring" incorrectly. Remove the main spring housing and make sure all the "fingers" are sitting on top of the sear and disconnector. I've seen so many people leaving the sear finger under and not on top. Check that.

yep i doubled checked that since i put it in wrong a lot in the past. is the sear finger suppossed to be floating or touching the sear? i think it might be bent but i cant tell. The hammer is cocking correctly now i think after i bent the sear finger forward. but its still shooting full auto

All full auto must be the finger spring problem. I think you change the new one as well.
