Reliable GBB Beretta
Well, i've owned a KWA, KWC, KJW, Aftermath, and some other brand of Beretta, and I've been sorely disappointed.
I am looking for a GOOD quality, heavy hard kick Beretta that won't let me down. please post suggestions, thanks. |

Well, those are all the low end guns, so you can't expect top performance out of them. Although I had a KJW M9 for a couple of years and it worked great.
In terms of full metal, that's pretty much the list of options you have unless you get a TM (recommended) and can find a metal kit for it.

KJW and KWA are good choices. KJW sometimes has a questionable reputation, but their Beretta 92 is a pretty solid workhorse. The KWA M9 is a beast.
If you can find a TM, get that (the KJW is a TM clone) |

The TM Beretta has a REALLY light slide. It'll move out of battery if a spec of dust even grazes it. It's also got some horrible seam lines. All the same, I love mine. But yeah, get a metal kit.

KSC System 7/ KWA PTP Tokyo Marui (Keep in mind their M92 was one of their first GBB release) KJW Western Arms WE-Tech Out of those out of box, KSC Sys 7/ KWA PTP, and KJW are the really only two that's good I own KSC Sys 7 M9 and KJW M9 Elite, I like KSC Sys 7 better because it has realistic decock function as well as a crisper blow-back. Reliability wise, its about the same. KJW mag are more prone to leak than KSC Sys 7/KWA PTP |

WE is probably a no-go, their GBBR has a good reputation, but most people seems to spit on them. I haven't used one, just handled a few, and I really didn't like them. Note that my impressions might have been biased by the reviews I've read...
That being said, I own a KWA M93RII, which is really (I mean *really*) a great gun to shoot. If it wasn't about the nozzle that had the habit of splitting in half all the time. Just buy a few extra and you're good to go. Now that I used it a bit more, it looks like the problem is lessening, the nozzles seems to last much longer; probably due to the slide gradually "taking its shape". Just make sure to clean and lube it before/after usage and it's a great gun. In term of M9, I think the KWA PTP would be a great choice. Most parts are supposed to be reinforced and stuff. Keep in mind that any GBB/GBBR will break at some point. It's just part of the game to keep them in shape on a regular basis. |

I own 2 WE m9's and i absolutely love them. Solid, heavy recoil, and have been reliable and functioning for over a year. I e had the odd mag leak, but with 8 mags, eventually you're going to have some leaks. The guns themselves have never had any issues.

I've had a WA beretta 1934 for many years and the little thing just keeps on kicking. Fantastic gun and lasted longer then my old HFC full metal beretta.

If all those have failed, you're either (impossibly) unlucky, or just plain suck.
The KJW is a very reliable gun, with nice internals and at a very affordable price point. Just get two KJW, I dunno. Fox. |

Kjw have never worked well out of box, I tend to be one of the unluckiest people when it comes to buying stuff, if an item is defective I'll get it.
Although I do have a KSC Bereta Elite IA, but it was made back in 1999 Or 2000, I dunno if I can even get mags for it, but it works great just weak, lacks metal and recoil. But always works. I'll look at maybe a new KSC. Not really interested in WE as I've owned 4 we rifles new and none worked with out new parts... Again bad luck lol. Thanks for the help. |

had no problems with my kjw m9 elite, the odd every now and jam due to the air cylinder / loading nozzle needing lubing

From what I understand, Western Arms is apparently the go-to brand for Beretta GBB pistols when it comes to sheer quality and finish. I also understand that they've received a licensed from Beretta, so they ought to come straight out of the box with all the right trades and details.
