GBB magazine flow restriction

I was curious if anyone has tried restricting the flow of any GBB rifle or pistol.

I'm looking at doing this for a TM 5-7. I would prefer using propane, but without it destroying the gun in the process. I was originally thinking of adding something into the gas valve to block the holes. I'm thinking that reducing the size of the hole in the top of the mag would work to.

Let me know if you have tried this, or it might work or not work at all.

Thanks

TM's can take propane no problem. Don't worry about it.

I've heard of people breaking the outer barrel and hop up unit in the TM 5-7. It scares me more that I can't get replacement parts for it.
