11.1v 15C PEQ-15 King Arms Li-Po anywhere in Canada?
I have been using a 20C battery and I burnt out my trigger so i was told this lower discharge battery and silver wires will stop that from happening again (ongoing prob in XCR). The one ive been looking for is the King Arms 11.1V 1450mAh 15C AN PEQ-15 model but i am having no luck finding it. Lots of places in asia have them but they won't airmail batteries and the one american store that has them are charging 50$ for shipping. Does anyone know a Canadian retailer that has these or is a retailer that has the ability to get their hands on one of these? Thanks for the help.

There are videos on YouTube showing blue light arcing on even 7.4V LiPos. Your best bet is going to be to reduce the current travelling through your trigger contacts and install a MOSFET. Even a simple one should solve this problem.

Get a MOSFET. Arcing happens on all batteries. It's just worse on a lipo.
Get aws spend 80 bucks and you'll never be happier

+1 to MOSFET, it's the only thing that will solve your issue.
Lowering your discharge rating on a LiPo can be extremely dangerous, and it doesn't prevent or reduce trigger arcing what so ever. The C rating is the MAX amperage that can be drawn from your battery continuously, not it's constant discharge. If you draw more than you're rated for, the battery sets on fire. And high grade wiring will effectively increase the amount of current going through your trigger contacts, so it would actually make the problem worse unless you had a MOSFET. |

Here's a video where you can see even a low voltage LiPo arcs if you don't have a MOSFET.
LiPo with no Mosfet - YouTube Note that his solution is to stack up on NiMH batteries, which is crazy, but your takeaway should be the MOSFET effectiveness |

So it's clear. A 9.6 will also arc.

Shouldn't he get a replacement battery in addition to a MOSFET? LOL.
Post pictures of the battery that you need along with dimensions. |

He never mentions his being broken. The issue he had is the same with all lipos. A get will fix it. A new battery wont

I run lipo in two of my AEGs and they both burned out the trigger contacts - every season in fact. Solution: MOSFET! (If you find one that will fit your setup).

FYI I've seen 8.4v NiMH mini batteries arc contacts. So Yes you should totally get a MOSFET. Even a cheap non computerized one will solve your issue. I see them as a mandatory upgrade and have them in all my guns.

hmmmm... Yeah that definately seems the way to go. I have a VFC XCR, any suggestions for a brand of good but basic MOSFET's?

Great guy to work with, and I'm assuming they're available in Canada, or something comparable. |
