a&k sr25 hopup unit help??
im just wondering if anyone knows if there is an upgrade for the hopup unit??
i have the long mechbox. thankyou in advance and i would check myself but im not currently with the gun. |

I may know someone who might possibly have one. Don't remember if it was for that specific model though, all I remember is that it was made by A&K (are you looking for OEM or aftermarket "upgrade"?). If you haven't found it by tomorrow I'll send you a PM if I've found something.

Isn't it a regular V2/M4 hop-up?
The point of the longer mechbox is to be able to use the normal hop-up... I think even the custom-nozzled short mechbox uses a V2/M4 setup... |

Actually... What Kosmos said would make sense. I thought there was something weird about the air nozzle that makes it specifically a lot longer and if you look on youtube the hop up unit looks exactly like a standard m4 hop.

I don't know this particular make...but the other setup of a short mechbox/long nozzle used a long nozzle, regular V2/M4 hopup and had a spacer inbetween the mechbox and the hopup. Why? Simply to position the hopup feed tube over the mag.
