We M4 Open Bolt
Hey, looking to get my first gbbr , I've had aeg's and want a good challenge. it looks as if its between kjw and we open bolt, but i want the WE because easier to find parts, just want your guys honest reviews of it. And what parts should be upgraded right away and down the road. Also what external upgrades are compatible.
Post pictures if you could too so i could get some visual ideas. I DONT WANT TO KNOW WHERE TO GET IT! |

The is an old picture, it had a AP M4 Replica, Knights Armament Company RAS IS002. Currently I put an 4X ACOG replica (got rid of the red dot), Fenix TK21 on it |

i obviously looked and wanted some reviews and pics up. Didn't really see the need for the obvious responses, if i saw the answers i wanted then i wouldn't have posted this.

Post links to the reviews that you've read...and pick out the post #'s that you've got further questions on.
Do that...and I'd be happy to answer any specific questions that you may have if they haven't been done to death already. |

No specific posts just have some questions.
30 round mags vs. 20 round vn mags? Is the open chamber scar a drastic improvement over the closed chamber series? Internally what needs to be upgraded right away, soon down the road? How to clean it (there is a thread but its on the closed chamber series) |

I'll give you the broad strokes of what will happen. You will get about 50 people saying that WE gbbrs are great for x,y and z reasons. Then you will get about 20 saying they are horrible for x,y and z reasons. So in closing WE gbbr are a great platform for a reasonable ( and this is relative in Canada) price. With good general maintenance they will last a long time. But just like every other product there are the occasional lemon that finds its way into the hands of a user.

Search and you shall receive. The 20 rd mags are a newer style and seem to be more durable. Transmission ends/
